I know most of you are great about privacy issues, but just so we're clear, here are some rules in light of the recent changes in LJ policy (you should read if you haven't yet):

1) If I post something here, public or not, you should NEVER ever EVER crosspost a comment on my post to Facebook, Twitter, or elsewhere.

2) If you want to link to any public post I make from anywhere on LJ, that's fine. Within the LJ community I don't mind links to my journal floating about.

3) If you want to link to any public post I make on LJ from anywhere else on the web, please ask my permission (forwarding to someone via email is fine - I'm talking on your website or other page). I don't really try to disguise my identity on LJ but I also don't broadcast the fact that I have one.

4) Don't ever forward links or references to my friends-locked posts without my permission. I do use filters. Most of them are just for relevance to the readers (for instance, most people I'm friends with here aren't on my weight loss filter) but I also just like knowing who knows things.

These are pretty common-sense and you all are smart cookies, but I figured I'd throw that out there.

I have some stuff I want to post, but I'm not gonna until they clear up the mess above.

As of today, my journal is completely friends-only. How very strange. But it feels good. I'm sad that I won't meet more nifty people via LJ, but I'll live, and feel a little more comfortable talking about whatever I'd like.

People should, however, comment if they want to be let in.

If I ever actually rent to someone again, there is going to be an entrance exam.

Can you pass the test to live in Jenn's house? )

Anyway. I miss you, LGH people. I can't wait until all this is over.
